Fort Boise Produce is sponsoring a recipe contest!  We are looking for the best written recipe and the best video recipe.  Of course the recipe must highlight and emphasize the use of Fort Boise Produce onions.  Please tell all of your employees, friends, and family to enter their favorite recipe!  The prizes are as follows (For each category - Written & Video):

            1^st Place $100 Restaurant Gift Certificate
            2^nd Place $50 Restaurant Gift Certificate
            3^rd Place $25 Restaurant Gift Certificate

Rules:

1)   Recipes must be submitted by email to dana@fortboise.com no later than January 31, 2008 with the subject ãonion recipe contestä.

2)   Recipe must include Spanish Sweet variety onions (not the ãsweetä variety such as Vidaliaâs or Walla Wallaâs)

3)   More weight will be given to recipes that have onions as the main ingredient.

4)   The written recipe must list all ingredients and the measurements first, and then instructions for preparation, as well as a picture of the prepared recipe.

5)   The video recipe must include a list of ingredients and the measurements as well as instructions for preparation.

6)   The video recipe may not be longer than 10 minutes.

7)   No employees of Fort Boise Produce, no spouses or ãsignificant othersä of Fort Boise Produce are eligible for prizes.

8)   If you are chosen as a prize winner, you must give Fort Boise Produce written permission to include the written recipe or video recipe on their website.

9)   Contest winners will be posted on the website by January 15, 2008.  Winners will also be notified by mail.
