If the originality scores are tied the judges shall reconsider the originality scores until tie is broken.) In the second round the Semifinalists' recipes will be prepared and judged on taste (25%), originality of recipe (25%), ease of preparation (25%) and appearance (25%). The five Semifinalists that receive the highest cumulative scores will be named the Finalist teams. (In the case of a tie for the five Finalists, the tie will be broken by the judges' reconsideration of the tying entries.) The five Finalist teams will win a trip to a National "Cookie-off" event in New York City (or Los Angeles) for a chance to win the Grand Prize. The five Finalist teams will be notified by phone, mail and/or express mail at Sponsor's sole discretion on or about January 28, 2008.

In this final round, the recipes will be judged by the audience based on taste. The Finalist team whose cookie recipe is voted the best in taste will receive the Grand Prize. (In the case of a tie in the final round, the audience will be asked to vote again until the tie is broken or the winner will be determined based on highest originality score in the second round.)
