Now that fall is here, it’s time to
warm up with some homemade soups, stews and chilies. And
while you’re making your family’s favorite dish, why not
send us the recipe?
Whether you use chowder to cut the
chill or hearty beef stew to keep out the cold, we want your
favorites. We’re looking for main-dish soups here, not those
light tomato bisques that need a sandwich for completion.
Just make sure each recipe is light, nutritious and above
all, delicious! Here are some ideas to get you rolling:
Entries for this contest must be
postmarked by January 15, 2008.
Winning recipes will be announced in the October/November
2008 issue.
ENTERING IS EASY
Print or type your recipe on one side
only of a sheet of paper. You may enter more than one
recipe, but be sure to print the name of the contest as well
as your name, address and phone number, including area code,
on each entry.
Be specific with measurements,
directions and the size of cans, packages and pans so others
can successfully make your recipe.
Please tell the origin of your recipe
and how you’ve lightened it up. Share any compliments it’s
received…plus pass on any variations you recommend.
If duplicates are received, entries
with the earliest postmarks will be considered.
