MISTOLOGY 101 RECIPE CONTEST RULES

Grand Prize:
A trip for two to New York City, including :
• Participation in MISTology 101, a fun-filled bartending class. You’ll learn from a pro about the essential ingredients for cocktail making, how to create classic cocktails along with your own signature mixed drinks featuring Canadian Mist and some fun tricks and bar flair to entertain your guests.
• Airfare and hotel accommodations for 4 days/3 nights at the Trump International Hotel Tower.
• Tour of New York City nightlife.
• $500 spending money.
• Winning recipes and entrants’ names posted on www.MISTologist.com.


1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: Open to legal residents of the U.S. who are of legal drinking age. Void in California and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

2. HERE’S HOW TO ENTER: Complete this form with your drink recipe or handwrite it on a 5" x 3" index card and mail to Canadian Mist Recipe Contest, P.O. Box 1475, Offer 150SN335, Young America, MN 55594-1475 or go to MISTologist.com/recipecontest, fill out and submit an entry form. Drink recipe must include drink name, Canadian Mist as the main spirit ingredient and complete preparation instructions. Each entry must also include entrant’s name, address, phone number and date of birth. Each entrant is limited to one entry per outer envelope. Any entry that is late, misdirected or illegible is not eligible. Online entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. on 4/30/08. Enter as often as you like (but limit one entry per stamped envelope). No photocopied or mechanically reproduced entries will be eligible, nor will your entry be eligible if it is lost, late, illegible, misaddressed or otherwise misdirected. Use of any automated system (e.g., robots, automatic, macro, programmed or like entry methods) for submission of multiple entries is prohibited. Any attempt by any entrant to use an automated system or to obtain more than one (1) entry by using multiple/different email addresses, identities or any other methods, will void all of that entrant's entries, and render that person ineligible to receive any of the prizes. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, stolen, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for any unavailability of or interruptions to any service or equipment used in connection with the promotion including, without limitation. Sponsor may require that the potential winner provide proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the email address and/or password associated with the winning entry. All entries become the property of Brown-Forman and may be edited or revised at our sole discretion. Contest begins February 1, 2008. All entries must be received by 4/30/08.

3. ELIGIBILITY: Employees of Brown-Forman Beverages, their affiliates, liquor wholesale licensees, retailers, as well as the advertising/ promotion agencies, and the immediate families and household members of each are not eligible to win. You must be at least 21 years of age and a legal resident of the United States to be eligible. Promotion void in California and wherever prohibited or restricted by law.

4. PRIZES: Grand Prize is a trip for two to New York City, New York. Trip includes round-trip, coach-class airfare from a commercial airport in the United States closest to and from winner’s home and New York City, hotel accommodations (double occupancy) for 4 days/3 nights at the Trump International Hotel, participation for winner and guest in a bartending class by Dean Serneels of Flairco, a tour of New York nightlife guided by class instructor, and $500 spending money. Winner’s names and winning recipes will be posted on www.mistologist.com. Five (5) Grand Prizes will be awarded. Estimated value of the Grand Prize is $3,000. All federal, state and local laws apply. Taxes and other charges, if any, are the sole responsibility of the prizewinners. No substitution or transfer of prize is permitted except with sponsor's permission or where required by law.

5. JUDGING: Contest winners will be selected by judges chosen by Sponsor. The judging will take place by 5/31/08. Each entry will be judged on creativity, originality and taste. The judging will be conducted by Brown-Forman and Dean Serneels of Flairco whose decisions concerning all aspects of this promotion shall be final. The prizes will be awarded.

6. CLAIMING PRIZES/RELEASE: Potential winners will be notified by mail on or about 6/10/08. Each potential winner may be required to claim his or her prize by signing before a notary and returning to the address stated in the notification an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release. If the notarized Affidavit and Release are not returned within 15 days of notification, winner will have waived any claim to the prize and an alternate winner may be selected. By accepting his or her prize, the winner: (a) releases Brown-Forman/Canadian Mist and their affiliated companies and licensed alcohol wholesalers and retailers from any and all liability, claims, actions or proceedings arising out of or for injuries or damages sustained while involved in a promotion activity or in connection with the use of the prizes; as well as (b) consents to the use by Brown-Forman, for promotional purposes in connection with this promotion, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice without further compensation and (c) acknowledges that the Grand Prize trip dates will be set by the sponsor are not subject to negotiation or change. Trip prize will take place in second half of 2008. If winner can not travel during set trip dates, winner will be disqualified and another winner selected. Any traveling companion of a prizewinner must also execute a Liability/Publicity Release prior to participation in any trip.
