OFFICIAL RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY
1. HOW TO ENTER: Beginning February 4, 2008 through April 10, 2008, log on to www.creamcheese.com, build a cheesecake recipe using the Cheesecake Customizer tool on the website and click on the icon to enter your recipe in the PHILLY Customize Your Cheesecake Recipe & Essay Contest. You will then be asked to complete your entry by registering and including an essay in 100 words or less that describes how and why your customized cheesecake will be perfect for your occasion. See Rule #2 for specific requirements. Submission of any entry further constitutes the entrant's consent to irrevocably assign and transfer to the Sponsor all right, title and interest in the entry, including, without limitation, all copyrights. You may enter once each day, but each entry must be different and submitted separately. Entries that are incomplete, illegible or corrupted are void and will not be accepted.
2. RECIPE REQUIREMENTS: General Requirements: Both your cheesecake recipe and essay must be original (original is defined as the creation of one's own mind and is not a copy or imitation). Specific Requirements: 1. Recipes: recipe must be created using the Cheesecake Customizer tool. Any specified ingredient must be readily available. 2. Essay: must be 100 words or less and describe how and why your customized cheesecake will be perfect for your occasion. You must include occasion name and how dessert will be presented.
3. ELIGIBILITY: Contest open to U.S. residents, 18 years of age and older as of February 4, 2008, except employees of Kraft Foods Global, Inc., Promotions.com, Inc., ("Judges") their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, (collectively, "Promotion Parties") persons living in the same households, and the families (spouse, parents, children and siblings) of each. Professionals such as chefs, caterers, food editors, home economists, dieticians, professional writers, or anyone who is or has been involved within the last five years in the professional preparation of food or recipes for profit are not eligible.
4. JUDGING: All entries meeting the requirements of Rules #1, #2, and #3 will be judged according to the following criteria:

PRIZES & APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (ARVs): One (1) Grand Prize: $10,000 cash, and a trip for two to Chicago, IL for winner to appear on the "In the Loop with iVillage" TV show with a Kraft Kitchens spokesperson sometime between October - December 2008, as specified by Sponsor. Trip consists of roundtrip, coach class air transportation from major airport nearest winner's home to Chicago; 4 days/3 nights hotel accommodations (one room, double occupancy); roundtrip ground transportation to/from airport/hotel and to/from hotel/show, and opportunity for winner to be on the "In the Loop with iVillage" TV show (subject to availability). ARV: $13,500. Nine (9) Finalist Prizes: $500 cash. Winners' photos and/or recipes may be featured on a website or other advertising related to the contest. Any website feature or advertising is at the discretion of the Sponsor. There is no cash value attributed to being featured on the TV show, on a website or in any advertising. In the event the winners and/or their recipes are featured on a website or in any publication or advertising, no additional compensation beyond the prize described above will be awarded. Cash portion of Grand Prize and all Finalist Prizes will be awarded in the form of a check. Grand Prize trip must be taken on dates designated by Sponsor sometime between October - December, 2008 or the prize will be automatically forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner. Travel is subject to availability and "In the Loop with iVillage" TV show scheduling, and dates are subject to change. All travel arrangements/accommodations at discretion of Sponsor. Actual trip value may vary depending on point of departure and airfare fluctuations. Grand Prize winner and guest must travel on same itinerary. If Grand Prize winner is a minor in his/her state of residence, he/she must be accompanied by an adult parent or legal guardian who will be the winner's guest. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute similar prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion. Total value of all prizes is $18,000.
6. GENERAL: Void where prohibited. All federal, state and local laws apply. All entries submitted become the sole property of Sponsor and Sponsor may alter entries submitted prior to publication, if any. Entries will not be returned. All income taxes resulting from acceptance of prize are the responsibility of winners. In the event of a dispute as to identity of an online entrant, entries will be deemed made by the name appearing on the online entry form. By entering contest, entrant accepts and agrees to these Official Rules and the decisions of Judges, which shall be final in all matters. Potential Grand Prize winner will be required to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release, including certifying that his/her recipe has not won a previous prize or award, has not been knowingly previously published and is the entrant's original work, and a Publicity Release within 7 days of attempted delivery. If any prize/prize notification is undeliverable, or in the event of non-compliance with any of these requirements, the prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner/recipe will be determined. Winner will be notified by mail. Grand Prize winner's guest must also complete and timely return a Liability Release and Publicity Release. No substitution or transfer of prize permitted except as provided herein. By accepting prize, winner agrees to hold Promotion Parties, their affiliates, directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless against any and all claims and liability arising out of use or redemption of prize. Acceptance also constitutes permission to the Promotion Parties to use winners' names, likenesses, submitted entries and biographical information for marketing purposes without further compensation or right of approval, unless prohibited by law. Promotion Parties are not responsible for lost or late mail, or for technical, hardware or software malfunctions, lost or unavailable network connections, or failed, incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete, garbled or delayed electronic communications whether caused by the sender or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in this contest, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this contest. In the event of any such error, Sponsor reserves the right to request that the Judges modify this contest in a manner deemed reasonable by the Judges, at the Judges' sole discretion.
7. WINNERS' LIST: For the names of the winners (available after May 30, 2008) send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: PHILLY Customize Your Cheesecake Recipe & Essay Contest Winners' List, P.O. Box 329, Elmhurst, IL 60126. Requests for Winners' List must be received by April 10, 2008.
