Some of these contests are open to amateurs but do not prohibit professionals from entering in their rules. But for many, entrants must be employed by a culinary institution, restaurant or foodservice organization in order to qualify.

Submit a recipe associated with a UK region (although you do not have to live or work in that region). It must include at least one Pritchitts ingredient.

Open to bona fide professional caterers or catering students in UK and Ireland only, aged 16 and over.

Regional Winners (12): a year's membership of the Craft Guild of Chefs, a Global Chef's knife worth £120, & winning recipe featured in the Pritchitts & Craft Guild of Chefs 2011 calendar. DESCRIPTION

Submit an original grilling entrée recipe which includes ingredients commonly available at retailers, and include 1 of Redwood Creek's 9 varietal table wines both as an ingredient and a Wine Pairing recommendation. Recipe should serve 4-6 people. Include a digital photograph of the prepared grilling entrée. Be sure to answer the survey questions on the entry form!

ELIGIBILITY

Open to residents of the 48 contiguous United States and DC, aged 21 years or older, (void in AK, CA, HI, TN, UT, PR).

PRIZES

Grand Prize: trip for Winner and 1 guest (over 21) to attend one Steve Raichlen’s Barbecue University® course in 2011, and a donation in the amount of $2,500 made in the Grand Prize Winner’s name to an outdoor charity of Winner's choice.
