WHAT’S IN YOUR WOK? A FRIED RICE COMPETITION - WESTERN REGION

DESCRIPTION	Submit your original fried rice recipe made with Minute Rice, white or brown, and no more than 15 additional ingredients. Rice must be 50% or more of the dish. Include a high-resolution photograph of the prepared dish. Recipes must be for a four main dish servings and be applicable to tableside-style preparation and cooking techniques. GALBANI® CAPRESE CHALLENGE CONTEST WESTERN REGION
DEADLINE	February 17, 2012
DESCRIPTION	How would you make a classic caprese salad without using fresh tomatoes? That's your challenge for this competition. You may use cooked or prepared tomatoes or tomato products, or skip the tomatoes altogether for something even more creative! Just be sure you use Galbani® fresh Mozzarella cheese and no more than 15 additional ingredients. The recipe must be completed in 70 minutes, including prep/cleanup. This contest is the second of 4 regional cook-offs with different deadlines. You may enter any or all of them. DESCRIPTION	Submit a video (3 minutes max) of you and your child introducing a recipe that includes a rice product. The video should focus on the child preparing the recipe. The rules suggest some questions you may ask the child during the video which may help their presentation. Must be able to attend the cookoff filming.
ELIGIBILITY	Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and DC, who are 18 years of age or older. You must be the parent/guardian of a child who is 5-12 years old for the whole duration of the contest. Child must be at least 5 as of 1/17/12 and may not turn 13 before 4/30/12.
PRIZES	4 Finalist Prizes: A trip for you and your child to appear on a shared segment of Rachael Ray to be filmed sometime between the dates of March 19, 2012 – March 30, 2012, in New York. DESCRIPTION	Create your own unique dish using at least one Chef Boyardee product as an ingredient. Submit it with a photo of the finished recipe dish and a short essay (25 words max) describing why your family loves this recipe. The recipe can be for an appetizer, snack, side dish, entrée, or dessert. There are 10 weekly entry periods for this contest, all with the same requirements. DESCRIPTION	How would you make a classic caprese salad without using fresh tomatoes? That's your challenge for this competition. You may use cooked or prepared tomatoes or tomato products, or skip the tomatoes altogether for something even more creative! Just be sure you use Galbani® fresh Mozzarella cheese and no more than 15 additional ingredients. The recipe must be completed in 70 minutes, including prep/cleanup. This contest is the third of 4 regional cook-offs with different deadlines. You may enter any or all of them.
