SEASONED CHEF RECIPE CONTEST
DEADLINE May 5, 2008
DESCRIPTION Entrants are asked to create and submit their best original recipe using Diamond Crystal® kosher salt as an ingredient. Applicants may enter recipes in one of three categories: Appetizers, Soups/Stews or Entrees.
PRIZES One or more category winners will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship for continuing education at the cooking school of his or her choice. From the category winners, one will be chosen as the grand prize winner and awarded an additional $4,000, for a total scholarship of $5,000. In addition, the grand prize winner will be featured with his or her winning recipe in a full-page advertisement in Sizzle magazine, an estimated maximum published value of $4,495, and will receive one case of Diamond Crystal® kosher salt.

THE HERSHBERG DIET RECIPE CONTEST

DESCRIPTION Culinary students, teachers, administrators and alumni are asked to set aside their whisks for a moment and pick up their cameras. They are asked to work up their favorite recipe and then take a picture or video of it and then send it in.
PRIZES First prize for each category is a $500 gift card from Chef's Catalog.
Second prize for each category is a set of Anolon Advanced skillets and cutlery.
