2013 RESER'S AMERICA'S BEST POTATO SALAD CHALLENGE

Again this year Reser's is seeking the best original potato salad in America! Submit your best recipe, sized to make at least 6 servings. It can be warm or cold, as long as it contains cooked potatoes in a dressing/sauce. The entry form requires a photo or video of the dish.
This year 9 winners of this contest will be eligible to attend the World Food Championships and contend for further prizes against 6 winners from competition BBQ teams.

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and DC who are age 21 or older.

9 Prizes: $1,000 cash prize and a $1,000 travel stipend to the World Food Championships. Should the winner choose not to participate in the World Food Championships, they will forfeit the travel stipend but keep the cash prize.

KIWI MAGAZINE 2013 THE NEXT GREAT YOUNG CHEF CONTEST

Kids, invent a healthy recipe containing at least one of these sponsor products as an ingredient: Xylitol sweetener, Earth Balance, Neislen-Massey Vanillas and Lundberg Family Farms products. Get your parent/guardian to take a video (3-10 minutes) or photo of you making the recipe and submit it for you.
Videos will be judged in two categories by age: Ages 4-8 and Ages 9-14. All photos will be judged in one category, separately from videos, and are only eligible to win an Honorable Mention prize.

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and DC who are age 18 or older. The entry must be submitted by an adult, but the star of the entry must be the 4-14 year old child who has created the recipe. The adult entering must be the parent/guardian of the child.

GREAT STEAK CHALLENGE 2013

Enter main dish recipe using beef steak, and a seafood recipe, both of which are prepared using a standard outdoor gas grill. Also choose a wine pairing from Beringer's choices that best complements your dishes.
You may use cookware on the grill, and blenders and food processors, but no other appliances for cooking all or part of your recipes. The recipes must be completely preparable in 30 minutes or less. There is a word limit for the recipes. Finalists will be expected to provide the sponsor with a short bio and personal photo.

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and DC who are age 21 or older. Professionals may enter only if they do not make more than 75% of their income from their employment as a food professional.

PILLSBURY BAKE-OFF® ROUND 3: QUICK RISE AND SHINE BREAKFASTS

The All-New Bake-Off® is here! This year there are three categories, each with its own entry period and slightly different list of eligible products. Finalists will be decided by vote from a short list of selected candidates.
Beginning July 4, 2013, submit a easy brunch or breakfast recipe containing no more than 7 ingredients (table salt, ground black pepper and water not counted). At least 2 of the ingredients must be from the eligible product lists, either 2 different ingredients from list A or 1 each from list A and B. If your product has multiple components you must use them all. All garnishes and accompaniments must be included as ingredients. The hands-on time for the recipe must be 30 minutes or less, and you should be able to completely prepare the recipe twice in 3.5 hours.

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and DC who are age 21 or older.

Grand Prize: $1,000,000 (paid as $50,000 yearly for 20 years) and winner's choice of $10,000 in GE kitchen appliances (Total ARV $1,010,000).

SUTTER HOME'S BUILD A BETTER BURGER® CONTEST 2013

Create and enter a burger recipe, defined as a patty prepared on a standard outdoor grill, and served on a bread product. It may include condiments, sauces, spreads, cheeses, and toppings, all in or on the bread product. No side dishes or garnishes are allowed. Size your recipe to make 6 burgers, or 6 servings of a giant burger, or 12-18 sliders. Previous non-winning entries may be updated and resubmitted. There are 2 categories: Beef (75% beef or greater); and Alternative (other ground foods, including less than 75% beef).

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and DC who are age 21 or older. Prior winners of $50,000 or $100,000 prizes not eligible; prior winners of Best Alternative Burger may only enter the Beef category. Please check rules for full list of companies whose employes are ineligible.
