Enter your best recipe featuring seafood and you may find yourself headed to the World Food Championships! A photo of your dish is required.
This contest is part of a series of contests planned around the WFC categories,

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of Canada, the 50 United States and DC who are age 18 or older.

PRIZES

Grand Prize: Qualification to compete in the 2014 World Food Championships in the Seafood category competition; Paid Entry Fee into the 2014 World Food Championships (ARV $200-$300 US); $500 gift card and a $1000 travel stipend for use on travel to the World Food Championships. If the winning competitor is unable to attend or travel to the World Food Championships, the travel stipend will become void. You are not required to use your winning recipe at the WFC; you may create a new one.

2014 BÄRENJÄGER BARTENDER COMPETITION

DESCRIPTION

Submit an original cocktail recipe highlighting at least 1/2 ounce Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur, Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur and Bourbon Whiskey, Bärenjäger Honey Liqueur and William Pear Brandy, and/or Bärenjäger Honey and Tea Liqueur as one of the principal ingredients. Up to 5 ingredients may be used; you do not need to include your garnishes and ice in the count. You should be able to prepare the cocktail in 5 minutes or fewer. Six Finalists will be invited to attend the Competition finals event, tentatively to be held in New York, NY on or about October 6, 2014.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of the 48 contiguous United States and DC (excluding CA, MD, and TX) who are age 21 or older.

PRIZES

6 Finalist Prizes: A trip to New York, NY to participate in the final event. Includes airfare, 1 night accomodations, ground transportation to lodging and events, and a per diem for expenses.

Create and enter a Step-by-Step, Photo, or Video Instructable introducing any recipe that makes use of watermelon to compete. Your dish may be a salad, main course, or dessert. Watermelon must be the star of the show, not a garnish or an afterthought. Also incorporate the challenge ingredient, chervil, into your recipe.
You may also enter a Instructable with this theme that was created after the start date, but not submitted to this contest.

Merci Chef Awards

DESCRIPTION

Shoot and enter a 45-60 second video containing a recipe using Merci Chef products and promoting the upcoming Merci Chef Awards photo contest. If you cannot obtain Merci Chef products, use a similar product but do not reveal its brand or logo. All entries must include the provided logo in the last segment of the video.
Videos are sought in  English, French, Spanish, Polish, German, Arabic and Chinese, but all must be subtitled in English. Include the required concepts. Use only royalty free or original music.

ELIGIBILITY

Not stated, but open at least to legal residents of Germany, Spain, Poland, USA, UAE, Lebanon, China, UK, and France; likely worldwide. Must be 18 or older.

PRIZES

First Prize: €5,000 (covers web and exhibitions for 3 years).

RIUNITE ULTIMATE CHILI CHALLENGE

DESCRIPTION

Create and enter an original chili recipe best paired with Riunite Lambrusco. Del Monte and Louisiana Hot Sauce are partner brands in this contest, so if you use any of their products you may mention the brand name. Limit your recipe to 500 words, maximum. Photos are optional.
Five Semi-Finalists each will participate in eight Regional Cook-Offs held in conjunction with a pro football game, prior to the National Final Cook-Off. You may select your region but the sponsor reserves the right to reassign you to another region.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and DC who are age 21 or older. Residents of Tennessee should enter by postal mail.

PRIZES

40 Semi-Finalist Prizes: 2 upper-level end zone football game tickets in Regional Cook-Off city and a $100 pre-paid debit card for required chili ingredients. DESCRIPTION

Select at least 4 but no more than 10 ingredients from the contest Pinterest board, and create a recipe with your minor (17 or younger) child(ren). The first 3 ingredients must be Kellogg’s® Rice Krispies®, margarine/butter, and marshmallows; the remaining 1-7 ingredients are your choice. You may not use ingredients that are not on the approved list. Recipe must take no more than 45 minutes to prepare. Pin your selected ingredients from the contest board to a Pinterest board of your own, with the recipe and a photo of the prepared recipe, perhaps including your child(ren) making it. Submit the board to the sponsor.
There will be 8 entry periods in this contest, and non-winning entries will roll over to subsequent periods.
