GOLDEN GIRL GRANOLA BLOGGER RECIPE CHALLENGE

DESCRIPTION

To participate in this challenge, register on the sponsor's website, choosing the flavor of the sponsor's granola you'd like to use in your entry. There is a limit of 50 participants for this contest, so apply immediately.
When your free sample of granola arrives, create an original dessert recipe and post it publicly on your food blog, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram to qualify. Then email the recipe, an unwatermarked photo of the dish, a photo of yourself, and the URLs of posts and shares to the sponsor. You are encouraged to share your entry on any and all additional forms of social media, submitting the URLs as applicable. You have until July 31, 2016 to complete your submission

CASTING CALL: NEW KID CHEF COMPETITION

DEADLINE

ASAP! (casting should be complete by mid-August 2016)

DESCRIPTION

Casting now: parent/child teams where the child is the chef and the parent functions as mentor and motivator for the rising culinary superstar. Is this the case in your family? The parent/guardian half of your duo should apply for this new show as soon as possible! You will need photos of yourselves together and individually, with 3-4 photos and/or a video of the child cooking. List the child's culinary accomplishments and accolades and complete the application on the casting producer's website. Be prepared for a Skype interview!

ELIGIBILITY

Both child and parent/guardian must be legal residents of the United States. Child must be 7-14 years old when the filming of the show occurs.

PRIZES

Prize: Not mentioned, and there are no previous seasons to give any indications of what it might be. Most commonly this type of show has a 5-figure cash prize (but that's a guess on our part). If nothing else, participating gives you publicity.

Sign up as soon as possible up to participate in this blogger challenge, because there's a limit of 100 participants — 50 in each category. Once you're accepted and have received your choice of free product, create a stir fry or cold noodle salad (the categories) showing the magic that occurs when Asian is fused with other unexpected non-Asian flavors.

Create and enter a burger recipe, expressed in 600 words or less. A "burger" is defined as a grilled patty formed of ground meat or other ground foods, and served on a bread product or alternative wrappings such as lettuce. It may include condiments and toppings, all in or on the bread product/alternative wrapping. No side dishes or garnishes are allowed. Size your recipe to make 6 burgers, or either 12 or 18 sliders. CHOPPED AT HOME CHALLENGE PRESENTED BY SARGENTO® – 3

DESCRIPTION

This contest is divided into three entry periods. Create and photograph a unique dish fitting the theme for this contest entry period, and using all four of the mystery basket ingredients for the period. Submit your photo and a 200 word (or less) description of the dish and its preparation.
For the third entry period the theme is Grilling and the required ingredients are Sargento® Chef Blends 4 State Cheddar; Pork Tenderloin; Cherry or grape tomatoes and Broccoli.
Four finalists will participate in a cookoff in New York City.

This is a baking contest open to all who want to bring an entry to Jay, VT between 8-10am, August 13. Preregistration is optional and you do not submit the recipe until the day of judging.
Bring 2 separately packaged indentical items, one for judging and one for sale at the associated fundraiser. Include a copy of your recipe with the proof of purchase stapled to it. Entries should be made from scratch using King Arthur Flour or made with a King Arthur Flour Mix. 10 extra points will be given if the item is homemade.
There are two divisions, each with a separate theme.
 • The Adult theme is "Best Coffee Cake," so bring 2 coffee cakes.
 • The Youth (15 and under) theme is "Best Drop Cookie." Each of the two containers must have 12 cookies.

DESCRIPTION

Submit your most creative savory pork ribs recipe — "Bold. Sophisticated. With a hint of Gnarly." As you write your recipe, keep the word count under 500 words. When entering, choose an appropriate wine pairing for the dish. You have the option to include a photo of yourself or the prepared ribs.
This is the 8th annual Gnarly Head Ribs Recipe Contest.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and DC who are age 21 or older. Previous Grand Prize winners are not eligible to enter.

PRIZES

Grand Prize: $5,000, awarded as a check.

TEXAS CO-OP POWER: RAGIN' CAJUN

It’s Mardi Gras time (or will be when the winner of this contest is published). Enter in your unique Cajun recipe.
Texas Co-op Power contests are held monthly. Each month has its own theme and prize — and once annually the prize is large.

Open to residents of Texas who are members of electric cooperatives and subscribe to Texas Co-op Power magazine.

EPICES DE LA VIE LLC RECIPE CONTEST

DEADLINE

September 28, 2016 (or earlier, if 500 entries are received)

DESCRIPTION

Using at least one product from Epices de la Vie, create a flavorful dish. Bonus points will be given if you use more than one product. Enter the recipe along with a high quality photo of your dish that shows the product packaging in the background. Post the photo on both the sponsor's Facebook page and on Instagram, using the hashtag #gotsalt and tagging @epicedelavie, and following the sponsor.
This contest will close early, if/when the sponsor receives 500 submissions.

ELIGIBILITY

No residency requirements are stated. Although there are no age limits listed, you should be 13 or older to use the social media necessary to enter.

PRIZES

First Prize: A Trannon Culinary Traveling Culinarian Chef Bag, a cheque for $500, and a full collection of the Epices de la Vie line of spices and salts.
Second Prize: a cheque for $250, and a full collection of the Epices de la Vie line of spices and salts.
