DESCRIPTION

Before you submit your contest entry, you will play an instant win game. Afterwards, submit your favorite race day snack recipe (not to exceed 250 words) and a corresponding photo. Your recipe must feature any of the following participating brands: Nilla Wafers, Nutter Butter, Oreo, Ritz and Wheat Thins.
This is the second of five entry periods, each with the same theme but a separate prize. Non-winning entries do not roll over to subsequent entry periods.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and DC who are age 18 or older.

5 Grand Prizes (1/entry period): A trip for 2 to Homestead, FL. BUD & BURGERS CHAMPIONSHIP - 3

DEADLINE

April 26, 2015

DESCRIPTION

Beginning April 20, submit a photo or video of you and your original burger creation, telling in the caption (140 characters) or video (15 seconds max) why you feel you deserve to be the 2015 Bud & Burger Champion. If entering via Twitter or Instagram, mention @budweiser and use the hashtags #BudandBurgers and #Contest. If selected as a semi-finalist, you must submit your recipe with the required affidavit.
This is the third in a series of ten entry periods, all with the same challenge. Non-winning entries will carry forward to subsequent entry periods. The creators of one photo entry and one video entry from this entry period will compete at a Festival Cook-off, and the winner will go on to compete against the winners from the nine other periods for the Grand Prize. Each Cook-off will be in a different city.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of the United States who are age 21 or older, and who are amateur cooks.

CHOPPED AT HOME CHALLENGE - 2

DESCRIPTION

Create an original dish using all the basket ingredients. Submit a photo of your dish, a description of how the dish was prepared and how the basket ingredients were used. Your actual recipe is not requested. Don’t forget to include the required Sargento® cheese packaging in your photo.
This is the second of a series of three contest periods with the same challenge, but using different ingredients. The required ingredients in this period are: Sargento® Off the Block 4 Cheese Mexican, Boneless chicken tenders, Couscous, and Salsa. One Finalist will be chosen from this period to compete in the final Cook-off in New York City in July or August, 2015.

NEW BRUNSWICK RECIPE CHALLENGE

DESCRIPTION

Submit two original recipes inspired by New Brunswick, one of which must be a main course. A short description of your inspiration is required, as well as a photo. The preparation and cooking times combined may not exceed two hours. All ingredients should be purchasable from Waitrose, if possible.
Finalists must attend a judging event held on 17 July 2015 in London.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of the UK who are age 25 or older who are not professional chefs.

PRIZES

4 Finalist Prizes: Transport costs and overnight accommodation for the final event. The 3 runner-up Finalists also receive £250 John Lewis vouchers.
Grand Prize: A fly-drive holiday for 2 to New Brunswick. Parents of a budding chef between the ages of 8 and 12, work together with your child and send in your child's original lunch recipe inspired by the USDA's MyPlate. Keep it simple, full of fresh foods, and affordable. Tell the story of how the dish was developed. What would you serve with it to balance out the lunch? Include a photo or drawing of the completed dish (don't show child in photo). Do not mention brand names.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States, DC, PR, Guam, American Samoa, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and the Northern Mariana Islands who are age 18 or older and have reached the age of majority, and who are the parent/guardian of a child aged 8-12 who meets the same residency requirements.

PRIZES

56 prizes (1/state or territory): 2 airfare tickets to Washington DC, hotel accomodations for one night; and the opportunity to be invited to a Kids' "State Dinner" hosted by the White House, which will take place at lunch time (ARV $1200).

2015 GREAT GARLIC FESTIVAL RECIPE CONTEST AND COOK-OFF

DEADLINE

May 1, 2015

DESCRIPTION

Enter a recipe that specifies the use of at least 6 cloves of fresh garlic, or the equivalent packaged form (three teaspoons minced or chopped). Keep the title of your recipe under 10 words, and include a photo with the entry. This is a contest where elaborate, multi-part dishes — and even a side dish — seem to be welcomed, as long as you can meet the time limits!
If you are one of the 8 Finalists chosen to participate in the Cook-off on July 25, 2015, you will be expected to prepare seven separate plates, all within a maximum of two hours. Five plates will be for the judges, one plate for the emcees, and one plate will be used for presentation to the judges and for media purposes.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of Canada and United States who are age 21 or older. Previous first, second, and third place winners must sit out three years before re-entering.

PRIZES

First Prize: $5,000.
Second Prize: $2,500.
Third Prize: $1,000.
5 Finalist Prizes (remaining finalists): $100.
All finalists traveling over 100 miles will be provided with hotel accommodations, one room for two nights in Gilroy. Finalists must make their own travel arrangements, but if warranted, these travel costs will be reimbursed: one coach class ticket for air travel and/or a rental car for a maximum of two days, not to exceed $55 per day. Maximum reimbursement per contestant shall not exceed $600.

Enter your original unpublished grilling recipe, along with a corresponding photo. You must be able to completely prepare and cook the recipe in no more than one hour.
Six finalists will compete in the Sizzle Showdown in Nashville, TN on June 6, 2015.

If entering via Twitter or Instagram, mention @budweiser and use the hashtags #BudandBurgers and #Contest. If selected as a semi-finalist, you must submit your recipe with the required affidavit.
This is the eighth in a series of ten entry periods, all with the same challenge. Non-winning entries will carry forward to subsequent entry periods. The creators of one photo entry and one video entry from this entry period will compete at a Festival Cook-off, and the winner will go on to compete against the winners from the nine other periods for the Grand Prize. Each Cook-off will be in a different city.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of the United States who are age 21 or older, and who are amateur cooks.

2015 LEGENDARY LENTIL COOK-OFF

DESCRIPTION

Submit your unique recipes containing at least ½ cup raw USA lentils or 1 cup cooked USA lentils, along with a corresponding photo of the dish. You must be able to complete cooking of the recipe in 90 minutes.
This year is the 27th Annual National Lentil Festival. Five finalists will be invited to come to Pullman, WA to compete August 21 and enjoy the Festival August 22, 2015.

ELIGIBILITY

Must be age 21 or older. No residency requirements stated. Previous winners of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes may not enter for 3 full years after winning.

PRIZES

5 Finalist Prizes: Official National Lentil Festival aprons; honored guest status at the Lentil Festival; $50 for purchasing ingredients for the cookoff; and hotel accomodations for 2 nights and airfare reimbursement (within US only), if needed. Finalists must arrange their own travel arrangements.

DESCRIPTION

Create and enter a burger recipe, defined as a grilled patty formed of ground meat or other ground foods, and served on a bread product or alternative wrappings such as lettuce. It may include condiments, sauces, spreads, cheeses, and toppings, all in or on the bread product/alternative wrapping. No side dishes or garnishes are allowed. Size your recipe to make 6 burgers or 12-18 sliders. Recipes must be completely preparable in 60 minutes or less. The use of sustainable, organic, and locally sourced ingredients is encouraged. The sponsor would also prefer recipes that are not overly complicated or costly to make.
Previous non-winning entries may be updated and resubmitted.
