SAUCY MAMA'S 2014 FOOD BLOGGER RECIPE CONTEST

DESCRIPTION

By the deadline above, apply to become one of 25 bloggers who will receive a Saucy Mama Blogger Kit. Chosen participants must create and blog about a recipe that uses one or more the products included in the kit. Recipes must fit one of these categories: Burger; Sandwich; Bacon; Seafood; Pasta; or Cheese Recipe. The blog post must include at least one high-resolution photo and be posted by May 14, 2014. Winner will participate in the World Food Championships in November 2014.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and DC who are age 18 or older and currently maintain a blog.

PRIZES

KOHL'S CARES TOP CHEF COOK-OFF

DESCRIPTION

Work together with one or two of your children to create a nutritious, tasty and kid-friendly recipe in one of three categories: appetizer/side dishes; entrées; and dessert/snacks. Your recipe should be plant-based and able to be prepared in 90 minutes or less. Submit the recipe with a corresponding photo. Be sure to respond to the confirmation email you will receive. 5 teams per category will be invited to participate in a cook-off on May 10, 2014.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to teams of a parent and one or two child(ren) ages 5-17. No residency requirements are given, but transportation to the cook-off in New Hyde Park, NY is not provided.

2014 GREAT GILROY GARLIC FESTIVAL RECIPE CONTEST AND COOK-OFF

DESCRIPTION

Submit your most impressive garlic-infused recipe and a corresponding photo. It must call for at least six cloves of fresh garlic, or the equivalent packaged form (three teaspoons minced or chopped) and you must be be able to prepare it and plate seven portions in under two hours. This is one contest where elaborate recipes and a side dish on the plate are accepted; just include it all in the entry. Eight finalists will attend the annual cook-off held July 26, 2014.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of Canada, the 50 United States and DC who are age 21 or older. Previous top 3 winners may not enter for 3 years after entering.

Beginning March 27, enter an original recipe containing 7 ingredients or less (certain basic ingredients do not need to be counted). Two of the ingredients must be from the eligible products lists: either 2 different ones from List A, OR 1 each from Lists A & B. The recipe must be able to be prepared in 30 minutes or less.
There are two categories in this entry round: Weekend Breakfast Wows and Amazing Doable Dinners. The eligible products may be different for each category; check the lists carefully. Special awards are available for the use of certain products.

ELIGIBILITY

Enter a recipe for a "small plate" or appetizer that contains at least 1 cup of a Dole product from the list in the rules. No more than 10 additional items may be included in the recipe. You may exclude salt, pepper, water, oil or butter used for cooking, and cooking spray from the count. Must be able to be prepared on a gas grill that includes a burner (partially or entirely) and total preparation and serving time may not exceed 60 minutes. Photos are optional and will not be judged. Entries will be grouped in 3 geographical regions for judging. A finalist from each region will participate in a cook-off. This contest is associated with a sweepstakes.
