Submit a recipe for a beverage that includes Georgia watermelon as an ingredient.
There are four categories: Family Friendly; Just Juice; Blended, Not Stirred; and 21 and Up. (We're waiting for clarification of the categories. We think the 21 and Up category can include alcohol, and might only be open to those 21 and older).

INSTRUCTABLES COOKING BASICS CHALLENGE

DESCRIPTION

Create and enter a Step-by-Step, Photo, or Video Instructable featuring your techniques for kitchen basics. Knife skills, timing meats, or perhaps basic recipes that can be tweaked a hundred ways, like an omelet would all be good subjects.
You may also enter a Instructable with this theme that was created after the start date, but not submitted to this contest.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States & DC, Canada (excluding Quebec) UK, Australia, China, The Netherlands, Belgium, Colombia, Denmark, Germany, India, New Zealand, Norway, or Switzerland, who are 13 years of age or older (15 in Norway, and 18 in Germany). Parent/guardian permission needed if you are under the age of majority.

THE FINEST GRILLATHON CONTEST

On August 13, 2015, Ball Park and a team of grill masters will attempt to break the world record for longest marathon BBQ by a team. Would you like to be one of the team?

LUFTHANSA COOK AND FLY CONTEST

Enter your best original main course Indian cuisine recipe. It may be a vegetarian or non-vegetarian dish. You must also "Like" Lufthansa India's page on Facebook.
Eight finalists will compete in the Grand finale event at The Leela in Gurgaon on 8 September 2015.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to citizens of India who are residing in India and are age 18 or older.

PRIZES

8 Finalist Trips: Return air tickets will be provided by Lufthansa for the Contestant only for the day of finale to Delhi and return on the same day in any of the domestic airlines.

BACKYARD BBQ COOK-OFF

DESCRIPTION

This cook-off is like the big BBQ competitions but there is no entry fee — just register by the deadline. You will need to supply recipes at the cook-off.
On August 8, 2015 teams of up to 4 persons will compete at the Indiana State Fairgrounds to make their best items in each of these categories: Build a Hogburger®; Chicken; Pork Loin; Pork Ribs; and Open (must contain Shoup’s Seasoning and/or Shoup’s BBQ Sauce). All categories must be cooked on wood, charcoal, gas grill or a smoker.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of Indiana of all ages. You may work in teams of up to 4 people.

PRIZES

Overall Grand Champion: $1,000 & Prizes.
Reserve Grand Champion: $500 & Prizes.
5 First Category Prizes (1/category): $100 and an Award Medal.

Would you like to be one of 50 bloggers attending Food Fight Write at the World Food Championships 2015, a program of informative sessions, interesting food trips and an actual food competition just for bloggers? To apply, complete the form and sumbit a 750 word blog post which addresses the 5 questions provided, designed to help you introduce yourself.

ELIGIBILITY

Must be a food blogger. Age and residency restrictions not stated.

PRIZES

50 Prizes: Free registration and participation in the Food Fight Write Blogger's Summit scheduled for Nov. 2-4, 2015 in Celebration, FL. Winners are responsible for their own transportation and lodging.

Enter your recipes into one of two categories: Grilled Cheese sandwich (avoid all processed cheese); or Tomato - any type of dish containing tomatoes.
Attribute any modified recipes to their original source, and tell how your recipe is connected to the East Coast of Canada.

ELIGIBILITY

Residency requirements are not given in the rules, but the entry form asks for province, not state — so we assume it open to Canadaian residents only. Must be 19 or older.

CHEF BILL'S REGIONAL RECIPE CONTEST

DESCRIPTION

Submit your favorite, original recipe representative of some region of the United States for possible inclusion in the upcoming American Diabetes Association All-American Diabetes Cookbook — Diabetes-Friendly Regional Cuisine from across the United States.
Your recipe does not have to fit diabetic guidelines although it should be adaptable to a diabetic lifestyle. Chef Bill will select the 15 top recipes and make them diabetes-friendly before including them in his cookbook.

NATIONAL OYSTER COOKOFF

DEADLINE

DESCRIPTION

Submit a recipe using a minimum of 1 pint of oysters or 1 dozen fresh oysters in the shell. Specify whether you want shucked or unshucked oysters or if you require oyster shells for presentation.
There are three categories: Hors d’oeuvres; Soups & Stews; and Main Dishes. There is a limit of 1 hour for prep and cooking of recipe.
Three contestants from each category will be asked to prepare their dishes for the judges at the cook-off on October 17, 2015 in St. Mary’s County, MD.

ELIGIBILITY

Contest is open to everyone.

9 Finalist Prizes: Friday night complimentary hotel accommodation and welcoming reception available for contestants. You must provide your own transportation to the cook-off in Maryland.

SUTTER HOME'S BUILD A BETTER BURGER® CONTEST 2015

DESCRIPTION

Create and enter a burger recipe, defined as a grilled patty formed of ground meat or other ground foods, and served on a bread product or alternative wrappings such as lettuce. It may include condiments, sauces, spreads, cheeses, and toppings, all in or on the bread product/alternative wrapping. No side dishes or garnishes are allowed. Size your recipe to make 6 burgers or 12-18 sliders. Recipes must be completely preparable in 60 minutes or less. The use of sustainable, organic, and locally sourced ingredients is encouraged. Create an original recipe for a cocktail or mocktail using at least 2 ounces of any flavor of any Master of Mixes® premium cocktail mix and additional ingredients such as fruit juice, soda, and in the case of a cocktail, alcoholic beverage(s).
