BUD & BURGERS CHAMPIONSHIP - 7

DESCRIPTION

Beginning May 18, submit a photo or video of you and your original burger creation, telling in the caption (140 characters) or video (15 seconds max) why you feel you deserve to be the 2015 Bud & Burger Champion. If entering via Twitter or Instagram, mention @budweiser and use the hashtags #BudandBurgers and #Contest. If selected as a semi-finalist, you must submit your recipe with the required affidavit.
This is the seventh in a series of ten entry periods, all with the same challenge. Non-winning entries will carry forward to subsequent entry periods. The creators of one photo entry and one video entry from this entry period will compete at a Festival Cook-off, and the winner will go on to compete against the winners from the nine other periods for the Grand Prize. Each Cook-off will be in a different city.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of the United States who are age 21 or older, and who are amateur cooks.

PRIZES

2 Entry Period 7 Semi-Finalist Prizes: Trip for winner and 1 guest to the Chicago Blues Festival in Chicago, IL to compete in the Festival Cook-off. Travel Dates: June 14-14, 2015. STRUT YOUR STUFFED RECIPE CONTEST

DESCRIPTION

Enter a recipe for a stuffed food, defined as any dish where an edible substance or mixture is used to fill the cavity of another food item. Both cavity and filling may be the same ingredient, but must be prepared in different ways (i.e., In Twice Baked Potatoes, potatoes are both the cavity and the filling). Limit yourself to 8 ingredients maximum, all of which could be purchased at Trader Joe's — no free ingredients in this contest. Prep time (excluding cooking time) must be 30 minutes or less. No alcoholic ingredients allowe

AUSTRALIAN SIGNATURE PULSE DISH RECIPE COMPETITION

DESCRIPTION

Enter your signature dish featuring the use of one or more types of legume as an ingrediient. There are three categories: Everyday Food Lover, Professional, and Healthy Recipe. Specific guidelines for Healthy Recipe entries are available HERE. A People's Choice Prize will also be awarded.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of Australia who are age 18 or older.

PRIZES

Grand Prize: $1,000 and an all expenses paid 2 day/1 night trip to Melbourne for the announcement of the winner on 26 July 2015. Trip includes flights from the Australian capital city closest to their residential address, airport transfers, accommodation and meals for one person (Trip ARV $1,500).

43RD ANNUAL WARRENS CRANBERRY FESTIVAL RECIPE CONTEST

DEADLINE

May 29, 2015

DESCRIPTION

Create and enter a unique recipe using fresh or processed cranberries. There are two categories: Fresh Cranberry (fresh and fresh frozen berries) and Processed Cranberry (containing commercially prepared cranberry products). If your recipe was inspired by an existing one, please include the source with your entry.
Twenty finalists will be asked to bring their finished product to Warrens, WI on September 25, 2015 for the final judging. You must be present to win.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to amateur cooks who are age 8 or older. You do not have to live in Wisconsin but you must be able to bring your dish to Warrens, WI for judging.

PRIZES

2 First Prizes (1/category): $75 gift card and a piece of cookware.

Create an original pizza topping with great flavours and creative ingredient combinations. Be sure to give the inspiration behind your pizza, as it will be judged..

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and DC who are age 18 or older.

PRIZES

Grand Prize: £10,000 Cash  and a two-night trip for two to the Amalfi Coast. Trip includes return economy flights from London to the Amalfi Coast, return transfers from the airport to the hotel, two nights’ stay in a 5-star hotel (double or twin room, breakfast included), £150 spending money, and travel insurance. Guest must be 18 or older. The trip must be taken before and including 31 July 2016, and is subject to exclusion dates in the rules. Winning entry will be credited as inspiration for a new pizza recipe which will be introduced onto the main menu before July 2016.

DEEP ISLAND HAWAIIAN RUM COCKTAIL CONTEST

Create and submit a single-serving cocktail recipe fitting the theme "Quintessential Hawaiian Rum Cocktail" and featuring Deep Island Hawaiian Rum and fresh ingredients. No more than 2 ounces of alcohol total may be used. Include a high resolution photo of the cocktail. Four finalists will participate in a "Rum Scrum" Competition on July 25, 2015.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of the state of Hawai'i who are age 21 or older. You do not have to live on Hawai'i Island.

PRIZES

Grand Prize: $500, a gift certificate for a three-night accommodation at The Westin Kā’anapali Ocean Resort Villas and round-trip airfare for two (2) within the State of Hawai’i. The winning cocktail will be featured for one year on select drink menus at The Westin Kā’anapali Ocean Resort Villas.

Enter an original recipe that uses soy sauce, makes 4 portions, and can be completely prepared in one hour. Accompany your recipe with a photo and either a story, drawing or other expression of memories associated with the recipe.
There are two categories: Washoku (traditional Japanese cuisine) or other tasty food you have encountered in Japan; and Your Country’s Cuisine, based on food from your home country.

Must be living in Japan, but not born in Japan. Can be either a naturalized citizen or a foreign citizen living in Japan.

"KID'S BAKING CHAMPIONSHIP" CASTING CALL

DEADLINE

June 1, 2015

DESCRIPTION

Kids who love to bake form scratch should work with their parent/guardian to submit an application to participate in the second season of The Kids Baking Championship. Send in a photo of the child, several photos of items they have baked, and a description of why the child would be perfect for the show.
Email your contact information, a photo of you and your child, photos of their most impressive baked goods, and your statement of why the child is perfect for this show all to kidsbakingchampionship@leg-corp.com.

ELIGIBILITY

The child should be between 8-13 years old, but the application must be submitted by a parent/guardian who is 18 or older. Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and DC.

PRIZES

Finalist Prize: The opportunity to compete on The Kids Baking Championship. Expenses are normally paid for the contestants on cooking shows, and in this case, for an accompanying parent/guardian.
Grand Prize: This year's prize has not been disclosed yet. Last year the winner received "$10,000 plus some other prizes."

Sometimes the best recipes are when you combine elements of two dishes. Submit the best mash-ups you have discovered.

SUTTER HOME'S BUILD A BETTER BURGER® CONTEST 2015

DESCRIPTION

Create and enter a burger recipe, defined as a grilled patty formed of ground meat or other ground foods, and served on a bread product or alternative wrappings such as lettuce. It may include condiments, sauces, spreads, cheeses, and toppings, all in or on the bread product/alternative wrapping. No side dishes or garnishes are allowed. Size your recipe to make 6 burgers or 12-18 sliders. Recipes must be completely preparable in 60 minutes or less. The use of sustainable, organic, and locally sourced ingredients is encouraged. The sponsor would also prefer recipes that are not overly complicated or costly to make.
Previous non-winning entries may be updated and resubmitted.

ELIGIBILITY
