Submit your best Indian festival food recipe from your region. It can be an appetizer, main course, side dish or street food traditional at any festival. Attach a simple, attractive close-up picture of the prepared recipe (no text or watermark). Give a good description of the dish and precise directions for making it. Also be sure to follow and like Archana's Kitchen on the required social media.

SUPER SNACK CHALLENGE

DESCRIPTION

Kid chefs! Do you have a healthy snack recipe? Write it up and have your parent/guardian submit it for you in this contest. Do not use brand names when referring to your ingredient. Include a background of the recipe and a photo or drawing of it. Choose one of the 5 geographical regions for your initial judging group.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of Minnesota who are age 18 or older and a parent/guardian. The entry should be developed by a child aged 8-14 at time of entry, but it must be submitted by the parent/guardian of the child.

PRIZES

52 Semi-Finalist Prizes: A copy of the Contest’s Top 52 Recipes Cookbook and 4 tickets to the Kid’s Tailgate Party at the Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee’s Bold North Festival (ARV $300).
10 Finalist Prizes: The right to designate a charity (subject to approval by the Sponsor) to receive $1,000 (ARV $1,000 ).

THE LITTLE CHEF FAMILY EDITION CASTING CALL

Does your family like to cook together? Tell the sponsor in 250 words or more how your family likes to cook together, and include a photo of the family in the kitchen.
Ten semi-finalist families will be asked to submit a video showcasing the family cooking with small potatoes. They will also be interviewed. Two families will go on to have a cook-off on The Marilyn Denis Show in December 2017.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of Canada. Must enter as a Family (maximum size 4 participants), defined as at least 1 but no more than 2 adult parent/legal guardians, and at least 1 but no more than 3 minor children between 6 and 17 years old. 2017 OUTDOOR NEWS TASTE OF THE WILD: RECIPES AND MORE CONTEST

DESCRIPTION

There are several ways to enter this contest. The first is for adults: enter an original recipe featuring wild game, fish, or any foraged wild edible. The second option is for adults also: enter your most epic wild food fail story. Lastly, kids ages 10-17 can enter with a favorite recipe/cooking story — they do not say it has to be with wild-harvested ingredients.
Winners may be asked for a photo of the dish, but the form doesn't let you submit it with your entry.

ELIGIBILITY

No residency requirements stated. Open to persons age 10 or older. Those 10-17 must have parent/guardian permission and enter under the parent/guardian's name.

2017 RECIPE CATTLE CALL CONTEST – 3

DEADLINE

DESCRIPTION

Submit a photo of your original recipe that uses Maple Hill Creamery dairy products. Any type of recipe is eligible. If submitting via one of the social media options, include the hashtag #RecipeCattleCall and tag Maple Hill Creamery in your photo.
This contest is one of a series of ongoing quarterly contests, and non-winning entries carry over to subsequent months for up to one year. Three finalists per quarter will be asked to submit the full recipe for their entry for further judging.

The Pillsbury Bake-Off® contest is back! There are some big changes this year, so be sure to read the rules thoroughly. One major change is that there is no cook-off for the finalists this year.
Enter an original recipe using no more than 8 ingredients, one of which must be one of the qualifying products listed in the rules. Only these these items do not have to be counted in your 8 ingredients: table, kosher or plain sea salt; black pepper; water at any temperature; cooking spray for pan treatment; or any dusting of flour used to minimize sticking. Garnishes and accompaniments must be counted as ingredients. 
The hands on prep time for your recipe must be no more than 30 minutes. Marinating, baking, cooling, or chilling time that are hands off time are not to be included in the minute count.  There is no limitation on total recipe time. 
Recipes are judged in 4 categories: Cozy Breakfasts; Appetizers for Any Party; Dinners with Heart; and No-Fuss Desserts. Also judged is the personal story behind the recipe that you must include with your entry. Photos of the dish are not accepted. The Meijer Award goes to someone who chose Meijer as their store of choice; the GE Award goes to the most creative update of a recipe.

Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and DC who are age 21 or older as of the beginning of the contest. STATEN ISLAND ADVANCE 2018 COOKBOOK CONTEST

DESCRIPTION

The format for this annual contest has changed again this year. This year there are four categories: Appetizers; Entrées; Desserts; and Nostalgia (for this category, include memories behind a dish, and perhaps the image of the originating cook). Submit all recipes with a photo of the finished dish. 
Six food recipe finalists and and one drink recipe finalist from each category will be asked to bring their prepared recipe to the annual taste-off. The final judging event will be held at The Hilton Garden Inn on April 8, 2018.

ELIGIBILITY

Open to legal residents of New York and New Jersey who are age 18 or older.
